Software to convert and merge various video formats.

Videocharge is an old-school and rather primitive video conversion application which provides a few useful features.

To start off, Videocharge has not been updated in a very long time and its layout and style kind of reflects that. With that said, it does provide a few utilities like video splitting, resizing and watermarking.

The layout of the program isn't too complicated and everything is rather well defined but speed isn't necessarily its selling point.

Videocharge supports a few popular formats but lacks support for more modern file formats like MKV.

Features of VideoCharge

  • Batch processing
  • Change of file format without re-encoding.
  • Convert an image, change image file format, parameters.
  • Convert a video, change video or audio stream parameters.
  • Convert a video avoiding changing file format.
  • Convert a video file and create thumbnail for it all at once.
  • Create thumbnail for a torrent video file.
  • Create video of high quality using double pass coding.
  • Edit video files of all main formats, including work with DVD and VOB files.
  • Edit video without re-encoding.
  • Extract frames from the video files and save them as image.
  • Set filename and directory for created files using templates.

Compatibility and License

This download is licensed as shareware for the Windows operating system from media converter software and can be used as a free trial until the trial period ends (after an unspecified number of days). The VideoCharge 3.16 demo is available to all software users as a free download with potential restrictions and is not necessarily the full version of this software.

What version of Windows can VideoCharge run on?

VideoCharge can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
